Hi Gang

I just had a female (or Juv). RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD at my feeder in Ballard. I know now I've never had one here before. It was green backed with rufous sides and a bit on the tail . I didn't see any red on the throat. I was standing in the kitchen door about six feet away when it came, it stayed long enough for me to get my binos...

Not earth shaking, but pretty cool for me. I'm filling my spare feeder so it will have fresh nectar tomorrow, if it comes back.
