Today along Lake Washington Blvd, crows were again out playing ospreys,
catching little fish, which were jumping all over like popcorn near
Lakewood Marina.

At Seward, I saw at least four herons (three more than usual). Walkers
who often go there: Have kids left a nest?

Also at Seward: A downy woodpecker with noisy kid, one common merganser
(female) and a juvenile baldy with many many crows in pursuit. Barn
swallows way overhead.

The domestic goose is now swimming with a flock of Canada geese after
spending about six weeks on its own by the pottery studio.

Have others seen cedar waxwings (two) along the west side of Greenlake?
