Here is another Seattle Audubon class that isn't full (space in the
workshop, and an additional field trip has just been opened up). I'm
forwarding information about these classes to tweeters, assuming that at
least some tweeters in the Seattle area aren't SAS members.

Interpretive Birding

Instructor: Dr. Jim Davis

This workshop introduces the concept of interpretive birding. Jim will
demonstrate how an interpretive approach can enhance your birding experience
whether you are watching familiar species at home or new species abroad. We
will also explore various behavioral topics such as migration, flocking,
caching, and countersinging. Jim will host two IB outings (an informative
and unique experience) on Saturday. If interested in the field trip, please
sign up separately (adults only) for it when registering for the workshop.

Workshop: Friday, July 6, 7:00-10:00 PM. Center for Urban Horticulture,
Douglas Classroom

Only field trip remaining: Sunday, July 8, 8:00-11:00 AM.

Workshop cost: $20 members, $35 nonmembers.
Location:

Field trip cost: $10 members, $20 nonmembers.
Location TBA; Adults only (beginners to advanced).

Cost of both workshop and field trip: $30 members, $45 nonmembers.
