Martin and Tweeters,

The Kitsap Audubon Society has been tracking Scrub Jays in the county for a
few years now, to the extent that our members and others report their
sightings. The jays have consistently been reported in the Manette
neighborhood of Bremerton, which is north of the Manette Bridge, and also
around the oak trees at the east end of Lion's Park near the Warren Ave.
bridge. Scattered reports, over a four-year period have been from the post
office and Fire Station #1 in Bremerton and at other locations up to
Hansville and a few from Bainbridge Island. One recent report was from the
area of the Kitsap County courthouse in Pt. Orchard.

Tweets,

In case anyone is keeping track....
I've seen Western Scrub-Jays in the Bremerton area a number of times these
past few months (Dyes Inlet shores). I'm told one of the Bremerton Audubon
Society members has been keeping track of this species there. Apparently
several pairs of jays have been breeding in Bremerton for some years now.
