On June 15th I led a short trip to the top of the Dalles Mountain
in Klickitat County. This was the one low wind day of the conference and
although we had only two hours in which to bird we did have an enjoyable
outing. Below is the list of birds seen on this outing from memory, if I
missed any species I hope one of the participants will update this list.
Turkey Vulture
Red-tailed Hawk - carrying a large snake, possibly a Gopher Snake
Golden Eagle, - flew low across the road being pursued by a Common Raven.

Common Raven
Horned Lark
Violet-green Swallow
Cliff Swallow
