BANDING REPORT- Coho Creek Watershed demonstration site
20 June 2001

Method: Up to six 9m mist nets are placed in mixed Red Alder/
Sitka Spruce with understory of Red Elder and Salmonberry along
the the upper Coho Creek, Seaside, Clatsop Co. OR. Captured
birds are measured, ringed with USBBL numbered metal bands and
released.

Notes: This was our first effort at the Coho Creek Watershed
demonstration site. We are being assisted by students from
the Clatsop County Upward Bound Program. Birds captured today
included a juvenile WILSON'S WARBLER (boy, do they look
different), a Juvenile AMERICAN ROBIN and several juvenile
SONG SPARROWS.
