I just came across an osprey nest atop a power pole a block east of Pacific
Highway South and South 112th Street. There's at least one young osprey in
the nest, one adult was on the next, and another adult was sitting on a
nearby power pole.

Aesthetics certainly don't seem to play much of a role in osprey choices for
nesting sites. This is an area of truck dealerships and parking lots, but
the Green/Duwamish river is a couple of blocks to the west.

I hadn't seen this nest before, and thought perhaps other tweeters hadn't
either.
