I found a funny comment while looking up some turkey vulture stuff on the
Web. It didn't say where this clock tower was. WaMu peregrines are lucky!!

"They had to erect netting on the Custom House clock tower because of the
falcons nesting there. The nets were not intended to discourage the falcons
(they are actually quite welcome). The nets are there because . . . (wait
for it) . .

....because people on the tour of the tower were trying to *pet* the birds.
