Dear Tweets,
The talk about Tufted Titmice saying "Peter-Peter"
reminded me of a spring day when I took my daughter,
then about six years old, to the Fir Island Game
Range. She heard a Black-capped Chickadee singing, and
said, "Daddy, that bird sounds like it's saying
'scyoos me!'" Since then, I always think these birds
are asking me to excuse them when I hear them sing.
