I came home yesterday to find our dog (samoyed-shepherd mix) lying in a
nest he had built out of pillows on the sofa. When I came in, he ran over
to me and shook himself off, as if he'd been out in the rain -- once --
twice -- three -- four -- five times! I said, "Five?" He gave me a
sideways look, and shook himself for the sixth time. Not bad for accuracy,
if you don't do decimals...
