Hi Jim and tweets,

Jim, I hope you don't mind my copying this to the
list, but I wanted opinions on something.

To answer your question, the Palm Warbler took off as
soon as the tree he was in started to sway severely.
I didn't see where he went. I had been trying to get
a good shot for over and hour, but he had always been
too far or behind something. I didn't have more than
about 5 minutes to relocate him because I needed to
get to my next class.

Anyway, after the quake I briefly saw what appeared to
be a warblerish thing of some sort land in on of the
short trees, at eye level. I got a two second glance
at it before it took off (I mean way off, way over the
trees and off into the wild blue yonder). When I saw
it landing in the short tree, it had very obvious
white on the sides of the tail, but it was definately
not a Junco. When I got my bins on it, I saw a
white/light breast with some light streaking. No
obvious yellow anywhere, I didn't even see any on the
rump when it took off either (couldn't see it for long
anyway), but the white feathers on the sides of the
tail were really flashing. Anyone have any ideas?
