Two of us did our once a month survey of Round and Tradition Lake. We first
got to Tradition Lake just as an Osprey, with much splashing, took off from
the lake without a fish. We came back there about 1-1/2 hrs. later and the
Osprey was circling the lake with a fairly large fish in its talons. It was
gaining altitude slowly so it could clear the trees. We did not see the
Tufted Duck.
