Hello, Laura, and welcome to Tweeters. I would have to
believe that your dead siskin and the earthquake is
merely coincidence. Birds on the whole didn't seem to be
affected much at all. Even more terrestrial animals are
usually only scared for while. My cat was a bundle of
nerves for the entire day, but my horse couldn't have
cared less.
