Friday, March 2, at 11:30 am, we saw 4 adult Turkey Vultures soaring over
south Whidbey Island near Useless Bay/Double Bluff. They were soaring over
Deer Lagoon and the Bayview and Double Bluff farmlands. An immature Red
Tail was soaring with them for awhile, when the Redtail attacked a vulture
from above. Then the Redtail headed east while the vultures headed to the
northwest.
