A woman who works in my office has a young grandson (about 4, I think). The
day before the quake, he suddenly started running around the house, saying
"Is the house going to fall down on us? Is the house going to fall down on
us?" His mother had no idea where he would have come up with this; he
doesn't even watch TV. Coincidence, or ... ??

Also, someone mentioned the quake was fairly silent, but I heard reports
from the Kitsap Peninsula (e.g., Port Orchard) that it was very loud over
there.
