The Lower Columbia Birders went east to Brownsmead this
morning. The TUFTED DUCK was obligingly sitting on the
aerator in the middle pond. A RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was
working the brambles on the hillside below the overlook.

Five TREE SWALLOWS and a VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW were at
Blind Slough. We also had a pretty good raptor day.
