We saw our first 3 juncos this morning in Zigzag, OR about 1500 ft up the
west side of Mt. Hood. I put up one of my hummer feeders day before
yesterday even though there was 2 inches of snow on the ground. You just
never know. We are finishing up cleaning out the violet-green swallow nest
boxes today. (We were lazy!) Last year both the hummers and swallows
came on March 24. I get the feeling they might be early this year.
Take care,
Nancy
