Hello Tweets,

Today my mother and I birded half a day in Kitsap Co., as we checked a few
locations of interest, starting at low tide at Gorst, where a 1st winter
GLAUCOUS GULL, along with two adult winter Herring Gulls, and 1 adult winter
California Gull, being all noted among the large Larus gull flocks at the
south end of Sinclair Inlet. A single GREATER YELLOWLEGS was also noted
foraging in Gorst Creek, as it empties into the inlet. A rather extensive
search of the S.Port Orchard Airport, after 2pm, produced 3 MOUNTAIN QUAIL,
as they were flushed along the brushy Scoth Broom covered hillside along the
westside of the airport, as were several Golden-crowned Sparrows, as the
weather conditions began to decrease, but NO rain.
