A few birds seen while not really birding--a Com. Raven near the Visitor's
Center at Discovery Park at lunch today while jogging--this corvid is
generally rare in Seattle proper, found as a visitor (or migrant?) in
non-breeding season; also a (red-tailed) Harlan's Hawk perched in low alders
right along northbound I-5 near the Everett STP on Sat., March 3; and at
least two singing Hutton's Vireos, and periodic visits by a flock of 12-15
Red Crossbills atop tall cedars, seen or heard while working in the yard
over the last two weekends.
