Hi tweeters,

Yesterday at Point No Point there were hundreds and hundreds of Mew
Gulls, mostly flying single file and staying close to the shoreline.
They were headed north. There were also many gulls resting far out on
the water, probably Mew Gulls also, but I didn't have a scope and can't
be sure. Are they migrating north already, or is there another
explanation?

No loons were visible while I was there.
