Wind NE at 10-15mph; Temp 45F

Method: 45 minute (timed) station count from observation deck at
Ecola Point using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting rocks, sitting
on ocean.

NOTES: COMMON MURRES are beginning to gather off the rocks. There
were quite a few in the air, but no directed movement patterns were
noted. A single GRAY WHALE surfaced and spouted. A PILEATED
WOODPECKER was heard from the parking lot. 5 RED CROSSBILLS flew
over the parking lot as well. No singing crosbills were detected.
