Yesterday morning we saw a concentration of 100+ swallows (Tree and
V.-g.) along Scatter Creek where it crosses Mull St. just west of the Tenino
city limits. Also calling Virginia Rail and Common Snipe here.
Another vertebrate note: we recently found a Northwestern Salamander in
this same area while clearing some old lumber scraps on our property.
