This morning as I was making coffee, I noticed 30 Evening
Grosbeaks in the apple tree where my sunflower feeder is located. Some were
singing loudly, while others fed. Last year I had about 5-6 show up in late
April for a couple of days, and then left. About an hour later a juvenile
Sharp-shinned Hawk came through for a Pine Siskin brunch.
