We were looking for redtail nests today, but instead found a heron zone at
Des Moines Beach Park. You drive in past the first parking lot, and there
are half a dozen or so nests up in the trees to your right.

Then also ducks of several sorts, goldeneyes, grebes, and gulls. Crows
were pretending they can dig clams on the beach.
