Hi Tweets,
Sorry for the late report of my Sunday March 4th, 2001 visit to Black River
Wetland in Renton, King Co.

I went there to check the Heron's nesting activity. Most of the Great Blue
Herons were sitting on their nests, and few were actively making trips to
collect sticks. There was some concern that some construction was about to
start near this colony, but looks like it did not made any impact. Many
Herons were vocal too!

Other birds seen were :
American Robin
Black-capped Chickadee
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Bufflehead
Green-winged Teal
Gadwall
Mallard
Canada Goose
American Coot
Lesser scaup
Red-tailed Hawk
Red-winged Blackbird (singing)
House Finch
Marsh Wren (singing)
Song Sparrow
Bushtit
Spotted Towhee
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Common Snipe
