After Tuesday's breeze (60 mph) we got a touch of moisture today with light
south winds. In blew the first Long-billed Curlew of the year to Othello
according to Dave Goeke. But winter birds remain, including at least 6 Am.
Tree Sparrows along Corfu Road off SR 26 in Grant County. Sandhill Cranes
continue to move in and we're up to about 2000 in the area now. There are
still a few spots left on the Sunday morning Columbia NWR field trip during
Crane Festival weekend.
