I just got word from Gary Ivey, our Oregon TTSS representative: "Good
news from our Wildlife Society lobbyist here in Oregon. It looks like
the proposed swan hunt bill is dead."

Stephen Kafoury wrote him:

the bill. Worried about their image. Evidently, hunting swans is a cultural
no no in Oregon.
