I have recently been in contact with the outfitter that advertised in
"Winging It" and another
outfitter from the same general area that lead Himalayan Snowcock tours.
The tours are
$750 each for a four-day trip into the Ruby
Mtns. in eastern Nevada (just south of Elko)
via 4-wheel drive, horse and foot to see the
birds. The tours are usually done in July or
August. If there is anyone out there in
Tweeterland interested in taking one of these tours. Contact me in person.
