Although I have chickadees at the feeders, they have ignored the nest box
so far. Usually
by this time, they are checking it out. Maybe I'm not watching enough.

The bushtits are voluminous and have nested in one of our fir trees in
the
front the last 3 years, so I'm hopeful.

The bewicks wren has been very vociferous and I have hopes of them
nesting, although last year I could not find the nest.

And if the robins try nest again, I'll know where to look and make it
less likely they'll be interrupted by the neighborhood beasts.

For an urban yard, I have some reliable nesters. Now if I can
convince the occasional spotted towhee to come back and
nest again, wahoo!
