Hello Tweeties!

While traveling in Southern California I had the pleasure of observing
ravens in action. These birds were dumpster diving behind a restaurant in
Tehachapi, California. They were so quiet and polite compared to their crow
cousins! Between six and ten appeared to take turns picking through the
exposed bags of food waste. They would occasionally "gronk" and
rattle-croak, but most of the time they were quiet. Had this been crows,
the noise would have been deafening!

Are ravens naturally this mellow?
