Greetings --

Today, for the first time this season, the Black-capped Chickadees at
my place west of Olympia were heard to be giving their "fee bee" song
indicating the breakup of the winter flocks and the beginning of
territory establishment.

And on the 19th I heard the first hummingbird of the season buzzing
around, but have yet to see one, so I can only assume that it's a
Rufous Hummingbird.
