Hello all,

Drove along the western side of Commencement Bay to
Ruston looking for the Yellow-Billed Loon. I pulled
off where I could and scoped likely suspects. No Loon
seen. Is there somewhere in particular that has been
a good place for the loon? While I was scoping the
Bay, a rather dark gray dorsal fin (sort of hooked
shaped) made it's appearance. As an transplanted east
coaster I just chalked it up to dolphin. Is it
possible I saw the dorsal of an orca? Although no
loon was seen, it's always nice to get close-up views
of Barrow's Goldeneyes.

Is there a searchable archive of Tweeters posts? I'd
like to look up some info on the Hawk Owl in Blaine,
the YB Loon, and Common Teal at Montlake(?).

Thanks in advance.

Steve
