In response to Ian Paulsen's note, I should add that we definitely saw a
pair of Bushtits gathering nesting material at Reifel Refuge on Sunday, 18
March.

Birds are breeding earlier in Britain, presumably because of global warming,
and there's no reason to assume they won't do it in this region (assuming
our temperatures are rising; I haven't checked this relevant point).
