Bushtits in my yard are gathering nesting materials.
The male and female were both pulling on long, stringy fibers
and one pulled so hard that he fell over backwards and ended upside down
with the fiber still attached at one end and holding him up.
They are back today pulling cotton I had stuffed in a honeysuckle vine. I put
the cotton from pill bottles out
