My daughter, a non-birder, gave me her copy of the March-April issue of The
Utne Reader so that I could read a marvelously sly, somewhat sinister essay
(fiction, I hope!) on crows - "Count on Crows" - by Ian Frazier. It is quite
short, beautifully written and deliciously scary.

I would be happy to e-mail it to any of you interested, one way or another,
in crows and ravens. It's top stuff.
