Hi Tweets:

Sat. March 24, East Lake Washington Audubon led a trip to Vashon Island for
12 birders. By the end of a full day of birding various habitats, covering
about 50 on-island miles, plus the birds seen from the ferry, we saw/heard 67
species. We didn't list the Mute Swan or a probable Hutton's Vireo that we
heard at more than one location. Some of the highlights included scoped
looks at Red Crossbills, an immature Bald Eagle attempting to catch a duck,
Sanderlings, lots of White-winged Scoters, singing Purple Finch, and male
Rufous Hummingbirds, including one performing his diving aerial display.
