Up near Silvana today I had my first singing Pugetensis White-crowned
Sparrow along a blackberry thicket, there were a number of other
White-crowns around but none of them sang. Not really noteworthy but while
I'm here, also from west of I-5 near Silvana: one "pure" Harlan's Hawk,
several Tree and Violet-green Swallows, and 13 Bald Eagles (mostly imm.) all

together on some silage about 3 miles west of town.
