I walk through Celebration Park (Federal Way) almost every day. A few months ago someone - or some group - put up about a dozen bird and bat houses. I was keeping an eye out for any nesting activity but was very sad to see that over the weekend someone knocked down and smashed all but one of the houses. The only positive thing I could think of was that at least there were no baby birds in residence yet. I feel so bad for whoever took the time and effort to put them up. If someone out there knows who put them up please let me know. I'd like to help put them up again - if they're willing to give it another try. Maybe farther off the main paths...
