......and has its work cut out for it!

At least one of the Purdy Pair was on the Power Tower near Purdy in
Henderson Bay this morning at 0630, brightening my commute to work! It will
be interesting to see if the nest (destroyed in the earthquake) is rebuilt
at that location, or if they find a new home.

According to my birding buddy, Diane Yorgason-Quinn, this nest had been
active for at least 15 years. The Osprey seen this morning was perched on
the right-hand Tower, exactly where the nest should have been....
