The male TUFTED DUCK was on the Astoria Sewage Ponds this
afternoon. Both aerators were running in the middle pond
so most of the ducks were on the west pond. There were
no females associated with it and no suspiscious looking
Aythya-type ducks in the middle or west ponds. There were
several molting first winter male LESSER SCAUP and a couple
of scuffy female Lessers, however.
