It rained pretty much continuously from Saturday until this
morning....

Steve Warner saw a FORK-TAILED STORM-PETREL at the SJCR
on Friday.

Migrant movements have been a bit hard to track in the
weather. Steve (along with Todd Thornton) saw a YELLOW
WARBLER at the Lewis and Clark Pond. Two PACIFIC-SLOPE
FLYCATCHERS were at Coxcomb Hill yesterday evening.
CINNAMON TEAL have also finally arrived in Clatsop County.

Small waves of WILSON'S, ORANGE-CROWNED and BLACK-THROATED
GRAY WARBLERS have turned up at Coxcomb Hill, the Astoria
Mitigation Bank and along the bike path at Ft Stevens.

Shorebirds are peaking. A mixed flock of 100 yellowlegs
was on Trestle Bay Monday. MARBLED GODWITS and RED KNOTS
were reported from SJCR among the usual mix of spring
migrants.

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
