Six RED PHALAROPES were off Boiler Bay April 30. The next day 2500
RED-NECKED PHALAROPES, 15,000 SOOTY SHEARWATERS, and 14 FORK-TAILED
STORM-PETRELS were there. On May 2 a DUSKY FLYCATCHER and three
SWAINSON'S THRUSHES were at Powell Butte Park in Greshem and two
SWAINSON'S THRUSHES were at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park near
Beaverton.

The TRICOLORED BLACKBIRD is still at the Fernhill Wetlands in Forest
Grove. On April 30 two adult BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS were there. A
SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER was at Baskett Slough NWR May 2. A pair of
WILSON'S PHALAROPES are now back at their nesting site there.

A LARK SPARROW was at Detroit Flats April 27. On April 28 a BLACK-NECKED
STILT was at the Brownsville Sewage Ponds. Three STILTS are now at Fern
Ridge Reservoir. Another was at the Kirkland Road Sewage Ponds near White
City April 23.

Nine RED-NECKED PHALAROPES and 38 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER were at the new
Amazon Flats wetlands in west Eugene during the week. A GRAY FLYCATCHER
was on Spencer Butte in Eugene April 29.

The TRICOLORED BLACKBIRD colony returned to the Stanfield area of
northeast Oregon again this year but moved to a new area a bit farther
east. It is now near the junction of Stanfield Meadows Road and Echo
Meadows Road.

Thats it for this week.
