Hi Tweeters; I just had to share a very magical moment for me that occurred
Tuesday evening. I had a little time to kill after work so I stopped at
Snake Lake in Tacoma to do a little birding. The songbirds all seemed
particularily bold / curious, and I was pleasantly surprized when a pair of
BLACK CAPPED CHICKADEES and a RED BREASTED NUTHATCH stopped on branches just
a few feet from my head. I'm not sure what I expected, but when I extended
my arm and called to them, both Chickadees landed on my hand (one at a time)
for a few moments each. I don't know if anything like that will ever happen
again, but for the moment, I felt absolutely blessed! All things are
possible.
