Hi Nelson/Tweets,
I've heard many times that these birds at Snake Lake of Tacomma are very
bold, and infact many people hand feed them. Gray Jays of Mount Rainer also
do the same thing.

>Hi Tweeters; I just had to share a very magical moment for me that
>occurred
>Tuesday evening. I had a little time to kill after work so I stopped at
>Snake Lake in Tacoma to do a little birding. The songbirds all seemed
>particularily bold / curious, and I was pleasantly surprized when a pair of
>BLACK CAPPED CHICKADEES and a RED BREASTED NUTHATCH stopped on branches
>just
>a few feet from my head. I'm not sure what I expected, but when I extended
>my arm and called to them, both Chickadees landed on my hand (one at a
>time)
>for a few moments each. I don't know if anything like that will ever
>happen
>again, but for the moment, I felt absolutely blessed! All things are
>possible.
