Drove up Coleman Canyon (north of Ellensburg) yesterday until stopped by
snow...

In the lower portions there were many Empidonax flycatchers, none singing
or calling and also some migrating Lincoln's Sparrows. House Wrens and Nashville
and Yellow Warblers were very vocal. A pair of Red-naped Sapsuckers was already
active in one of the Aspen groves. At higher elevations, it was still pretty
quiet, except for multiple singing Townsend's Solitaires. In comparison to Bob
Sundstrom's report, this area seemed a bit 'behind' Wenas (no Warbling
Vireos or Western Kingbirds seen or heard yet).
