Hi All,

I counted 32 CASPIAN TERNS at Meadow Point in Golden Gardens Park in
Ballard-Seattle including some juveniles. This was about 2 hrs before a -1.5
ft low tide. They were out on the sandbar that's exposed during the lower
tides. They were very vocal and did a lot of flying and landing again. Quite
a few GW Gulls were there too, and were also very vocal. Also in the area
around the pond and vocal were Red-winged Blackbirds, White-crowned
Sparrows, American Goldfinches - about 8 - and Savannah Sparrows. Only
Mallards in the pond.
