Here a some neat birds while birding Snohomish County on 9 May 2001.

At the Everett waterfront, these birds at the east shore of Jetty Island, seen from Everett Marina Village:
Ruddy Turnstone - One with a small number of peep and Dunlin
Arctic Tern - Two sitting on a piling

Seen at Tulalip Bay:
Clark's Grebe - One with Western Grebes

These birds at the Stanwood Sewage Ponds:
Wilson's Phalarope - Pair
Pileated Woodpecker - one, the first I've ever seen at this location
Blue-winged Teal - One male
Cinnamon Teal - One male
Long-billed Dowitcher - 29
Western Sandpiper - 15
Least Sandpiper - 1
Lesser Yellowlegs - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 2
Yellow-rumped Warbler - At least 35
