Dear folks,

Early in April this year Janet and I took a one week trip to SE Arizona to
celebrate her birthday and my retirement, both falling on April Fool's
day. We had never been there before and have always wanted to go.

After a few days of luxury in Tucson we visited Sabino Canyon, Bisbee,
Ramsey Canyon, Coronado Monument, Patagonia, Lake Patagonia State Park
and finally Madera Canyon. It was hot during the first part of our trip
but there was snow on the ground at Madera Canyon after a little storm
passed through.

There were many highlights and life birds* for us. If I had to choose I
guess the Bridled Titmouse was my favorite but I didn't get to see it 'til
the end of the trip.
