Our yard on the west shore of Long Lake, near Lacey, is already pretty well
wooded and attracts its share of birds, and we're gradually restoring the
woods to their more natural state with native plants. Our feeders attract a
goodly variety, but I miss seeing the truly spectacular birds, especially
orioles and tanagers. I wonder if anyone has thoughts about the vegetation
that's most attractive to them, so we can factor that into our plans as we
put in more native vegetation.
