Hi Tweeters,

This morning at about 10:45 AM (5/11/01) while surveying for green crabs
near Leadbetter Point State Park, near the tip of the Long Beach Penisula
on Willapa Bay, 26 White-faced Ibis flew over heading north. I did not see
them land. If you are birding in the area, be on lthe lookout for these
birds. This was a long over due WA first for me (i.e. a new state bird).
We also caught 4 European green crabs (not good, as they are an aquatic
nuisance species).

Good Birding,

Russell
